The Viv Vibe 👽💜⚡️
Viv Cycle is a Denver fitness studio that specializes in beat-based, indoor cycling. We offer high-intensity, instructor-led classes which incorporate speed, resistance, choreography, and weights to work our upper body. We turn the lights down for class and let the rhythm of the music guide us in a safe and empowering space. Our classes are pretty much a dance party on a bike.
But what we really want people to know about us, is that at Viv, people matter. We want every single person who comes into Viv to feel welcomed, to feel confident, to feel strong, to feel badass, and to feel important. Viv is more than just a workout – we have curated an entire experience around the idea that no matter where you are in your fitness journey, or in life, you can walk into Viv and just feel good. We are a community that encourages you to be authentic, to work hard, to struggle, to persevere, and to grow.
“Viv” is Latin for life, alive, lively – which is exactly the atmosphere we want to embody at Viv. Our goal is for our members to feel happy, inspired, and alive. We’ve created a fun and engaging environment, where our members can connect and form really wonderful, genuine relationships. Viv is a very unique and genuine balance of fitness and community and we are so, so excited for you to be a part of it.
Ann Tribone
Founder and Owner
I grew up in the suburbs of DC and moved to Atlanta for college. After graduating, I started my career in management consulting, which had me traveling all over the country for work every week. Hotel gyms just weren’t doing it for me so I started trying out various boutique fitness studios – I tried so many different types of classes but just really could not find a workout that was as intense, as high-energy, and as fun as indoor cycling. I was hooked.
When I moved to Denver and stopped traveling for work, I couldn’t find the cycling “home” I was looking for. I became determined to create a studio that has the ideal balance of authentic instructors, friendly staff, great amenities, fun and empowering community and, of course, an absolutely killer workout.
I had always enjoyed being a rider though, and had no experience (or really any desire to gain experience) as an instructor. So, the search for the Viv team began – I’ll let Nadine and Sophia take over from here!
Nadine Potter
Co-Founder and Head Coach
I was born and raised in NY and was the captain of my high school and Division I collegiate swim team. I worked in the fashion industry in NYC for a few contemporary designer labels and found that I needed a way to manage stress that wasn’t related to a swimming pool (they were not easy to come across). I found beat-based indoor cycling and immediately fell in love. I trained with arguably some of the best instructors in the industry for many years, and decided that I needed to make sure that indoor cycling was always a core part of my life.
I moved to Colorado with my fiancé (where he is originally from) and travelled SE Asia for a few months. When we got back and settled down, I decided I was only going to pursue a career in something I was passionate about. Cut to a coffee date with Annie T., and the rest is history <3
Sophia Mar
CMO and Head Coach
I am originally from Oakland, CA but moved to Denver in the Summer of 2018. I spent the first part of my life devoted to playing volleyball and worked really hard to end up captaining the Division I team at UC Davis. After finishing out my volleyball career, I immediately panicked to find a workout I loved because I was so nervous about not having the accountability of being on a team. When I moved back to Oakland, I started riding at a badass boutique cycling studio. When they announced they were hiring, I decided to just go for it and audition. I've always loved music – I have been downloading sick remixes from SoundCloud since high school and was spending hours making playlists for volleyball teams. It was a perfect match and this was the beginning of my life as an instructor.
Upon moving to Denver, I knew I had to have cycling in my life. I found Viv Cycle through a friend and just went ahead and inserted myself into the situation because I saw something so great from the moment I met Ann and stepped into the studio. Here I am now happier than I have ever been – I quit my full-time desk job and am doing something I love every. freakin. day.
Class Offerings
Cycling
45-MINUTE VIV RIDE
Our 45-minute Viv ride is our classic ride in which riders will utilize speed and resistance to cycle to the beat of the music. Instructors will guide you throughout class, incorporating lots of fun choreography. Expect to work your upper body with a designated weights portion of class.
35-MINUTE VIV RIDE
Our 35-minute Viv class is a condensed version of our standard 45-minute ride. We will offer a similar structure, but we just get down to business. Don't let the length of this class fool you, though – we promise that this class will leave you feeling equally challenged as any of our longer classes!
POWER HOUR
Our Power Hour ride is an extended, 60-minute version of our Viv class. You can expect the same structure, just with an extra 15 minutes of WORK. The instructor will utilize speed, resistance, and choreography throughout the class, while also incorporating weights for a song to work the upper body. Let's goooo. A standard credit works to reserve this class so it's really just more bang for your buck!
HEAVY HIITERS
Heavy HIITers is a 45-minute class that will focus on strength using resistance and high-intensity interval training. Although moderate speed will be incorporated into the class, you can primarily expect heavier beats with lower RPMs along with less choreography than our standard Viv classes. Similar to our other classes, weights are incorporated to work the upper body for a portion of the class.
FAST FEET
Fast Feet is a 45-minute class that will focus on speed-work and high-intensity interval training. Although moderate speed will be incorporated into the class, you can primarily expect faster RPMs than our standard Viv classes. Similar to our other classes, weights are incorporated to work the upper body for a portion of the class.
RIDE//RESTORE
Our Ride // Restore class will have the same general structure as our standard 45-minute Viv Ride, but will focus on the balance between moving your body and releasing whatever emotions you need to work through. Class will begin with some breathwork in order to create an environment where you are connected both physically and mentally to your space. Expect 45 minutes of good vibes, with lots of challenges along the way!
Strength + Yoga
MAT STRENGTH
Mat Strength is a beat-based strength class that challenges different muscle groups while equally replenishing you for your next spin class. Prepare to feel the intensity and energy from the spin room in this strength workout, and expect to leave with sore muscles you didn’t know existed. We offer full-body 45-minute class options as well as 30-minute class options that target specific muscle groups.
VINYASA FLOW YOGA
Vinyasa Flow is a flow-based practice that will move you from posture to posture while linking breath fluidly. You will learn basic postures and how to up-level your practice each time you step on your mat. We have both a 45 and 60-minute class format.
YIN YOGA
Yin Yoga class is a 60-minute, slower paced style of yoga. Unlike our yang or power-based flow classes, Yin focuses on connective tissues, joints, and ligaments. This practice is the perfect compliment to our cycle and strength classes, as it allows space to unwind and balance the body and mind.
MAT PILATES
Our Mat Pilates class is a 45-minute pilates class that utilizes body weight, sliders, and resistance bands to improve stability, build strength, and increase flexibility using controlled movements. This class focuses on developing your core muscles, while also training your arms and legs.
PRIVATE CLASSES
We offer private classes and would love the opportunity to celebrate any special occasion with you and your people! We are able to completely customize the class based on the needs of your group and we promise to show you all a good time!

OUR POLICIES
Booking window
We release our classes on Sundays at 4pm for the upcoming week (Monday through Sunday). All Access members can book an hour earlier at 3pm. Spots are first come first serve, so set your alarms and book your classes ASAP!
Class cancellation
You must cancel your reservation before 8pm the night prior to a class reservation. Any cancellation after 8pm will be considered a "late cancellation" - late cancellations from an unlimited membership/package will be charged a $12 fee and all other reservations will forfeit the class credit, unless otherwise noted in the membership/package details. Action must be taken by the customer to cancel the reservation either on our app or website - an email/text request or phone call does not serve as a successful cancellation.
No show
We ask that you always cancel as far in advance as possible. The sooner you cancel, the more likely we will be able to fill the open spot. If you miss a scheduled reservation, this is considered a "no show" - unlimited membership/package holders will be charged $20 and all other reservations will forfeit the class credit, unless otherwise noted in the membership/package details.
Class check-in
Customers must check in at the front desk prior to every class. If you don’t stop by the front desk, you risk not getting checked in and being liable for a no-show charge. If you are taking back-to-back classes, you must stop by the front desk prior to every class to ensure you’ve been checked in for each. If you do not check in for class, even if you do attend class, you will be charged a non-refundable no show fee.
First timer
We require our first timers to come at least 10 minutes early for your first class. First timers who arrive within 5 minutes of class are not guaranteed their spot.
Shoe rental
Our bikes require clip-in cycling shoes (Look Delta or SPD clips). If you need to rent shoes, we've got you! Just purchase the rental shoe "add-on" for $3 within your reservation. If you bring your own cycling shoes, make sure to verify that your clips are compatible, installed correctly, and tightened.
Mat rental
We offer $3 mat rentals for our mat classes. Stop by the front desk if you need one!
Phone usage
There is absolutely no phone usage allowed while class is going on. Please leave your phone in your locker.
Membership cancellation
Each membership contract has a 3 month minimum commitment. After completing your 3 months, you are eligible to cancel your membership. Memberships will continue to renew each month unless a cancellation is requested at least 30 days in advance of the auto-renewal date via email correspondence. We do not offer any prorated charges or refunds. The date the email is received will be considered the formal cancellation request date. By cancelling, you will forfeit any promotional pricing that you may have received. Only unfrozen memberships are eligible for cancellation.
Membership freeze
We offer 1 courtesy freeze per year for our members after completing your 3 month minimum commitment. Outside of that 1 complimentary freeze, you can freeze your membership with a non-prorated $10/month freeze fee. You can freeze up to 6 months total within one calendar year. Non-recurring packages are not eligible for freezes. Freeze requests must be sent via email at least 48 hours prior to the desired start date and must include the exact start and end date of the freeze.
Membership downgrade
After completing the 3 month minimum commitment of any new contract, you are eligible to downgrade your membership. We require 30 days notice in email correspondence to process the downgrade. The date the email is received will be considered the formal downgrade request date. By downgrading, you will forfeit any promotional pricing that you may have received.
Waitlist
When a class is full, you'll have the option to join the waitlist. If you are next on the waitlist and a spot becomes available, we'll automatically add you into the class until 1 hour before the time of class start. Be sure to have a phone number saved to your account because within 1 hour of the class, we will call you to confirm you can make it before adding you into class. If you do not have a phone number, we won't be able to reach you and will move onto the next person on the waitlist. Note that putting yourself on the waitlist means that you fully intend to join the class, and late cancelling/no showing will result in a fee. Please remove yourself from the waitlist if you no longer plan to attend class.
Late arrival
First timers are not allowed to enter the room once the doors close at the scheduled class start time. Members may enter class up to 2 minutes late, but you must call us to let us know you are running late. If you are not checked in 2 minutes before class and have not called to confirm your arrival, we will release your bike/mat to anyone on standby and you may forfeit your spot in class. If a first timer arrives after the doors close, or a member arrives more than 2 minutes after the start of class, regardless of if you called, you will not be allowed into class and your reservation will be marked as a “no show.”
Standby
If you’re on the waitlist and really want to take a certain class, we recommend coming to the studio and being on standby in case any spots in class become available — it’s common for us to have spots open up right before class! We will release any open bike/mat to anyone on standby 2 minutes before the start of class. If there are multiple people on standby, spots will be assigned in the order of the waitlist.
Leaving class early
We ask that you do not leave class early as it can be very disruptive to the class. We understand if there is an emergency that requires you to leave class, but note that once you leave you will not be allowed back into the studio. This policy is in place for your safety (navigating a dark room is very hard — trust us, we've tried!) and for the integrity of our classes.
Refunds
All sales are final and we are unable to offer any refunds or transfers of credits.

FAQ
Where are you located? We are at The Hub building in RiNo, at the corner of Downing and Walnut. Our address is 3611 Walnut Street.
Do you offer performance metrics tracking? Short answer: no. Long answer: our classes are rhythm-based, which means that we allow the beat of the music to determine our RPMs and then adjust to a resistance that allows us to keep that speed. Each and every body is different, therefore we do not use metrics to dictate our resistance or speed throughout class. We encourage our clients to enjoy the ride and simply focus on having fun, working hard, and pushing themselves in each class – numbers aside!
Do you offer parking? Yes, our clients have access to the The Hub’s retail parking. The garage entrance is on Downing, between Walnut and Blake. We have a limited number of validations so stop by the front desk before you head out and we’ll give you one if available. We do share the garage with other businesses in the building and it can fill up – street parking is also available and is free surrounding The Hub. Please note that the parking lot directly across the street (next to the pink building) is privately owned and unauthorized cars are subject to being towed.
What if I’ve never taken a cycling class? We’ve all been there at some point and know it can be intimidating! We require our new riders to come at least 10 minutes early for your first class. We’ll walk you through all the details until you feel totally comfortable. Each and every rider at Viv is an integral part of our community – we value you and your success and promise to make you feel right at home at Viv. New riders will not be admitted to the studio once the studio doors are closed.
What is the Stretch Room for? We use our Stretch Room, also called Mat Room, for our Strength, Pilates, and Yoga classes. Outside of scheduled class times, anyone can utilize the space however they please. It has weights, foam rollers, and other gear for you to use – feel free to use it to stretch, meditate, or just relax before or after class!
Do I need to bring anything to the stretch room classes? We highly recommend bringing your own mat to Strength, Pilates, and Yoga, but we do have mats available to rent for $3 if you don’t have your own. All other weights/props will be provided. Mat classes are done in socks, so don’t worry about wearing specific shoes!
Do you incorporate arms in your classes? Yes, all of our cycling classes have a 4-6 minute upper body song where we will use dumbbells to burn out our arms. We also do a lot of choreography that involves working our upper body.
Can I bring my own cycling shoes? Yes, our Schwinn AC Power bikes are compatible with Look Delta and SPD clips. No worries if you forget yours, though – shoe rentals are $3. Note that our bikes do note have cages so clip-in shoes are required.
How do I sign up for a class? First, ensure that you have credits or an active membership in your account. If you do not have credits then click "Buy Classes" to purchase some. If you have never been, your first class is only $10! Once you have credits, click "Schedule" to browse the various class times. Click into the class you’d like to reserve, select your desired bike, and be sure to click “complete reservation” to confirm your spot. You’ll get a confirmation email upon successful sign-up.
Does the studio have showers? Yes, our showers are fully stocked and we provide towels. We have all the products that you could possibly need – hair serum, face moisturizer, deodorant, Dyson hair dryer, steamer… you get the picture :)
What is the best way to contact you? We are only at the studio when there are scheduled classes, so calling us is not always the best option. We recommend emailing us (contact@vivcycle.com) or sending us a DM on Instagram (@vivcycle) as we check those frequently throughout the day.
Can I reserve a guest? To reserve a guest, purchase the “Single Credit” and have your guest create an account on our website. Once the account is created you will want to follow the same steps you would to book yourself, but select “Guest” when asked if the reservation is for you or a guest. Be sure to put in the email address associated with your guest’s account when you make the reservation!
Do you offer any discounts for certain groups? Yes, we do offer discounts for teachers, students, nurses, and military personnel. Send us an email (contact@vivcycle.com) with proof that you are a part of one of these groups and we will set it up for you.
How can I request a donation-based ride? Please fill out this form to submit donation ride or volunteer event ideas to us. We will consider all organizations and will reach out to you if the submission is a good fit :)
